美國死刑數據集。¶

描述¶

此數據描述 1997 年在州級實施死刑的次數。結果變數是處決次數。共有 17 個州執行了死刑。數據中包含了解釋變數，如每人平均收入（美元）、被歸類為生活在貧困中的人口百分比、人口中黑人公民的百分比、1996 年每 10 萬居民的暴力犯罪率、表示該州是否位於南方的虛擬變數，以及（估計的）擁有某種大學學位的人口比例。

    SOUTH - SOUTH == 1 indicates a state in the South
    DEGREE - An esimate of the proportion of the state population with a
        college degree of some kind

State names are included in the data file, though not returned by load.
